The storm has passed and most of the clean up is done. The people, animals and structures are fine. The trees/plants were damaged from the long hours of high wind.

Ulu season is way behind this year. We harvested later into winter than normal and then it rained a lot. Not sure which caused it. We usually have the first harvest in May and the fruits just started to grow on a couple trees. So weird. Also, exploding avocados from the rain I assume. All of the tomatoes were ruined with the rain...guess I planted too early for this year. You never know what is going to happen. Green beans, okra and winged beans are happy and lilikoi and ube plants are growing like crazy

Slowly trying things out. Tomatoes all exploded with the rain but okra, green beans and wing beans all are doing well.

It may not alway be glamorous, but getting the manure done. Built a containment unit out of building supplies.

I am a planner, but harvesting is my favorite. You get green beans…you get green beans. Working on if we should sell green beans but for now I planted many varieties and am seeing what I like best.
