PandaFest located in Pittsburgh 🐼 The weekend has officially kicked off, and PandaFest is in full effect! 👀

First thing I want to mention: if you plan on parking at Station Square, expect to pay $20 for the garage. Secondly, you’ll need General Admission tickets to enter the festival.

Once you finally make it inside, you’ll be surrounded by tons of different food vendors, gift vendors, and live entertainment throughout the festival. 🎶

When it comes to the food, I thought certain things were definitely worth trying, while others weren’t really for me. I wouldn’t go in expecting everything to be amazing. Instead, come ready to try some new things, explore the different vendors, and expect to spend a decent amount of time and money while you’re there. 🙌🏼

Mi Empanada located in Lawrenceville 🔥 It honestly should be a crime that I’ve lived so close to this spot and only recently decided to give them a try… They have an amazing variety of empanadas made fresh daily, plus some fabulous sandwiches like their Fried Chicken Milanese. And by no means should you skip out on their Tres Leches dessert 😮‍💨 Have you ever tried them? 👀

Pepper Space located in Oakland 🔥

When it comes to Asian restaurants, I’m surprised this spot hasn’t been recommended to me more often! I’ve been wanting to check it out, and I’m so glad I finally did. They have a fabulous dine-in atmosphere, but if you’re anything like me, they also have some insane deals on HungryPanda 👀

Mango Mango Dessert located in Squirrel Hill 🥭👀 If you’re a mango lover, this spot is basically a dream come true! They have a wide variety of mango desserts and drinks, but they also have some things I honestly didn’t expect to see, like their taro ube cheesecake and mango sticky rice smoothie 🤯🥭 Have you tried Mango Mango yet?

Island Spice Caribbean Restaurant in Carnegie 🇯🇲

I usually have a handful of Jamaican spots I swear by in Pittsburgh, so I had high expectations after hearing people recommend this place. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed 😬 No cabbage, no jerk sauce on the chicken (like c’mon now 😭), felt overpriced, and the restaurant wasn’t very appealing.

Maybe I just caught them on an off day 🤷🏽‍♂️ Have yinz tried Island Spice? What did yinz think? 👀

Showcase Barbecue located in Homewood 👀 Today I’m collaborating with natebutlerbites, and we wanted to give Showcase a try after craving some good soul food!

When it comes to Showcase, I think there are definitely some pros and cons. The prices are affordable, the menu has a good variety of options, and the portions are solid! 🔥

While I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it if you’re specifically searching for the best BBQ in Pittsburgh, it’s still a decent option when you’re simply craving some soul food without breaking the bank.

Gordo’s Cafe & Cantina located in Pittsburgh 🔥 When it comes to a spot with a comforting atmosphere, full bar, tons of TVs, amazing food, good prices AND a cafe with some humongous cinnamon rolls… Gordo’s knocks it out the park!

I decided to stop in for brunch while the Steelers were playing and I’m so glad I did! Everything was 🔥 and those cinnamon rolls are HUGE 👀 Have you ever tried Gordo’s? Gordo’s Cafe & Cantina

Haveli located in Monroeville 🇮🇳 I was honestly craving some butter chicken, so I decided to check out Haveli after hearing nothing but good things about them 👀 The inside is super nice if you decide to dine in, and the food was absolutely delicious 🔥 Definitely hit the spot! Top Pot & KBBQ located on the South Side 🔥 This late-night hot pot spot is easily one of my favorites when it comes to hot pot & Korean BBQ! They have a huge menu with tons of different broths, meats, veggies, and pretty much anything you could want 👀

The inside is covered in LEDs and gives you the feeling like you’re dining somewhere completely different 🌎🔥
