Friday Surprise! Come in to the tasting for a flash case sale on our Sampler Series (tape label) 2023 Zinfandel! (You may have seen this in Trader Joe’s over the years). And our super drinkable Hangtown Gold. Both on sale today through the weekend for $95/case ($7.91/bottle). Get them while they last! The Zin is a great dinner wine with bright cherry and raspberry notes and the Hangtown Gold is built for the pool- crisp, aromatic, full fruit and honey notes and barely off-dry. Pair them with Pizza at TGIF pizza hours tonight: open till 8:00pm.

Week one of harvest 2026 done! We’re crushing the Primitivo for everyone’s favorite Rosé. This harvest started earlier than usual and the crop is light due to early season weather but the fruit quality is great! Looking forward to some interesting new wine styles this year including another low alcohol GLOU from Tempranillo and a Barbera piquette!

From inspiration to bottle! The Queen Anne’s Lace flower (wild carrot) grows side by side with our vines throughout the vineyards here at the estate. They are the inspiration for our new Boeger Farmworks label series for our fun and accessible wines like our rosés, Glou (gluggable in French- a low alcohol chilled red) and coming soon our 2025 Pinot Gris. Flora is a rare white wine grape created in 1938 by Dr. Harold Olmo at UC Davis. It is a cross between Gewürztraminer and Sémillon, combining spicy aromatics with a smooth, waxy texture and low acidity.

Greg Boeger planted it here in the 1970’s and these old head-pruned vines keep producing this lovely grape! It’s ripening up as you can see as we roll into our 2026 harvest season. We blend this unique grape into our Hangtown Gold along with other super aromatics like Riesling and Sémillon.
