We saw this little guy wandering around our shop before he was rescued; it's good to know that he is doing well.

Three weeks ago, this red fox arrived at the Cape Wildlife Center with severe mange, significant fur loss, and a long road to recovery ahead. Today, his skin is looking much healthier, his fur is growing back, and he’s nearly finished with his course of antibiotics.

Recovery takes time. This young fox still has some healing to do, especially around his tail where his fur remains patchy, but it’s good to see him turning a corner and the changes so far are encouraging.

From here, we’ll be shifting our focus to helping him rebuild his nutritional reserves so he’ll be better prepared for the cold months ahead. He’s making great progress after weeks of treatment and supportive care. We’re happy to see how far he’s come and will keep you posted as he continues to heal! 🦊❤️
