We are days away from our pop-up in Tokyo and we are so excited!

We thoughtfully curated a special merch drop for this event and I couldn’t be more honored to work with amazing and gifted people to bring this to life!

The design was created in true collaboration. Designed in Portland, Oregon by a dear and talented little brother, Ron of __eaves and printed in Tokyo, Japan by who prints all of Coffee Elementary School 私立珈琲小学校 merch which I love!

__eaves thoughtfully added simple but meaningful elements to this design to represent our relationship to Coffee Elementary School 私立珈琲小学校.

The sun inspired by this sign located under the railway viaduct along the Kitajikken River (北十間川) in Sumida City which is a ward that Coffee Elementary School 私立珈琲小学校 resides in.

The retro sign reads “Stay well tomorrow, too!”.

If you’re in Tokyo, the merch (which we will share soon), will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Happy Summer Solstice!!!

What a crazy weekend!
We went into Summer sprinting!

Our small and mighty team made so many doughnuts, buns, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and bread that went all over Portland this past week!

We not only had our day to day with our wholesale accounts but we helped DaCostaDraws celebrate his release of his newest JokeyJokes that got us to do ice cream for breakfast Kate’s Ice Cream, free doughnuts that went to Tender Loving Empire and Deadstock Coffee in Beaverton to send them off proper! Congrats, DaCostaDraws !

Let ‘Em Cook! had an eventful week where our buns were used at so many cool events in town like 8 Seconds Rodeo !!!

mémoire cà phê kept us insanely busy…. We made so many cinnamon rolls the last 3 days….tell us you love the cinnamons rolls without telling us you love the cinnamon rolls!

Lastly, we love the community work through suaps and we were so happy to provide treats for their Father’s Day matcha pop-up at Deadstock Coffee The Hoxton in Chinatown!

We are so so tired but if this is what Summer will be like… we’re ready for it as long as we’re doing it with our friends and community! 🫶

Today, will be giving out free doughnuts at .caphe and while supplies last! For those who are participating in the shutdown or not… we have a hug in form of a doughnut!

As a daughter of immigrant parents and also a small business owner, today seems pretty empowering yet also defeating.

All our lives, we have to navigate through life here in the US. Sometimes it’s so scary and hard that we mentality grow up to keep our heads down and to work hard, stay in our lane.

Whether you agree or not, immigrants and our small businesses is what makes America … well America.

Today can be hard and to my fellow immigrant small business owners, take care of yourself. Sometimes it’s ok to let others fight for your existence on days like today.

This cinnamon roll recipe took me 6 months to perfect. I tweaked this recipe so many times but it was worth it to keep perfecting it!!

We are so happy that you have loved them! They are the first to sell out at the pop-ups and the response we get when we drop them at your table .caphe is so amazing and I allow myself to feel proud of the persistence.

We will be releasing a cinnamon roll pre-sale for the holidays soon! We will also release frozen packs for you to have your house smell like it does in our kitchen ❤️

Our little bake shop pop-up has been so fun!

It’s a space for creativity for me and it’s been so amazing to tap i to things I’ve been dreaming of introducing for along time. Each sweet treat is a love letter from me to you!
