Life has been insane as of late but I wanted to take a step back and remind myself of all the good things that has happened in the midst of chaos!
This trip to Tokyo was such a tiring but fruitful trip. It always reminds me of my purpose and grounds me to remain true to who I am.
My friend introduced to me .coffee a couple months ago, telling me that she thought it would be a great place for me to pop-up next time.
coffee is a coffee and kakigori (Japanese shave ice) shop! Its focus is connecting paper with people. Everything from their amazing origami business cards, to their unique cup sleeves down to their chairs and tables being made of recycled paper. The shop itself an experience itself and someone who use to work in stationery and paper in my former life, was in paradise.
Fast forward to this past November and what an amazing time we had with them! The team was so much fun and it was such a joy getting to know them and work along side them!
I was able to meet so many people at this event! Friends from home who were visiting, friends and kiddos who live there (one being a friend whom I have not seen since maybe high school!), making new Tokyo friends, visitors visiting from portland and all over the world! The best part was making new friends with .coffee team.
Thank you .coffee for having us and taking such good care of us!! Thank you for trusting us and inviting us into your space! I hope this will be a beautiful partnership to come! 💜
