Getting things ready for another strawberry planting season!

Please consider helping my dear friend, Cindy during this difficult time. We have been very good friends ever since she moved into town in the 2nd grade ❤️. Balancing your health while struggling with family responsibility can be a difficult task for even a healthy person. Every little bit will help 🥰 Thank you.

Tiny town… HUGE Texas flavor. 🍓

Poteet may just be a small dot on the map, but across Texas it’s famous as the Strawberry Capital of Texas. Founded in 1910 and named after early settler Francis Marion Poteet, this South Texas town built its reputation on rows of sweet, sun-ripened strawberries that helped put it on the map by the mid-1900s.
And every April, the town absolutely comes alive for the legendary Poteet Strawberry Festival — a Texas-sized celebration packed with parades, rodeos, concerts, carnival rides, and more strawberry shortcake than you can imagine. 🍓

Poteet also happens to be the hometown of country music icon George Strait… proving this little Texas town has produced both sweet strawberries and legendary country music. 🤠
