Livestock literally keeps you on your toes. Went out to feed this morning and Honey got herself stuck between boards. She'd been there for a bit but luckily it wasn't hot yet. 🙄 I literally had to use a saw to cut a slice out so she could get her head unstuck. This is why certain animals would die if we slept in! 🤦‍♀️ Ugh... so then I spent an hour teaching both the girls that being tied up isn't all bad. Lola is getting better but she's taught Honey some bad habits in just a week! I've got my work cut out for me.

On this ranch, our kids are involved. They help provide care to all of our animals, which means they also learn to operate equipment at a young age (supervised obviously). This girl learned to drive the tractor and the side by side in the same month. Training up the next Gen skillfully!

Oops... I did it again... she has my heart! My sweet baby Honey gained a new bestie today and a forever cow-sister! 💕

Welcome to the ranch baby Lola! They are 3 days apart and very close in size, at the moment.

She came from our friends and well known cattle ranch Six Stones with Daye Stone! Thank you friends!
