The Spanish Conquistador came to America searching for riches and fountains of eternal youth and while they took much, they also left something behind. A pepper called, Datil, the Datil Pepper was a delicacy from the Minorcan Islands and as the Spanish scoured North America and the area that is now known as Mississippi, a pepper fell from some unknown Conquistadors pocket.
400 years later an old c

odger found seeds in the field behind his cabin and planted them. The next morning a beautiful green plant with green and golden peppers had appeared. Taking one of these peppers the old man was filled delight and began using the peppers to make the most delicious salsa. This story has been passed down from generation to generation in my family and now The Grumpy Man's famous salsa and fantastic story is available to everyone!

Darian will be sampling at Acquistapace's Covington Supermarket in Covington, LA on Saturday from 12–5.

Nathan will be at the Hernando A'Fair Arts & Crafts Festival in Hernando, MS.
