Summer sweet corn season is fleeting! Here’s how to pick the best of the bunch: Look for bright green, tightly wrapped husks. They should feel fresh and slightly damp, not dry or yellowing, with plump, full kernels underneath (no gaps!). Check the tassels at the top—golden and slightly sticky = fresh, dark and dry = past its prime. Bring it home and cook it ASAP for the sweetest flavor. Summer corn doesn't wait… and neither should you. Try drizzling with Olivelle Sweet Cream Butter Infused Olive Oil, so tasty!

Fresh summer ingredients deserve tools that help them shine. 🍓🌿

Nothing says summer quite like a trip to the farmers market. Fresh strawberries, warm bread, and fragrant herbs are all you need to create something memorable.

Simple recipes become memorable when great ingredients meet the right tools.

Strawberry Bruschetta with Ricotta & Fresh Herbs

Ingredients

Fresh strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
Ricotta cheese
Crusty sourdough or baguette
Olive oil
Fresh basil or mint
Lemon zest and juice
Salt & black pepper
Honey (optional)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
Using the WÜSTHOF Classic 3½" (9 cm) Paring Knife, trim the green tops from the strawberries, preserving as much fruit as possible. Thinly slice the strawberries, then gently toss with the lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Using the WÜSTHOF 9" (23 cm) Precision Double-Serrated Bread Knife, slice the baguette diagonally into sixteen ½-inch (1.3 cm) slices. The double-serrated edge glides through the crisp crust without crushing the soft interior. Brush with olive oil, season lightly with salt, and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp. For a smoky summer twist, toast the bread on the grill for 1 to 2 minutes per side instead.
Spread ricotta over each toasted slice. Top with the strawberries, drizzle with the reserved juices and a little olive oil, then finish with chopped basil or mint, plus a pinch of salt and pepper. Add a drizzle of honey if you like a touch of sweetness.

Serve immediately and enjoy a taste of summer that's simple, fresh, and made to share. ☀️

Warm summer nights call for keeping it simple! When we're not in the mood for anything elaborate, it’s all about grilled brats. We give them a quick simmer in light beer first — so they stay extra juicy and perfectly cooked every time — then finish them on the grill for that irresistible char. So easy and great for laid-back evenings. Get our easy how-to here: http://ow.ly/QJHY30sXrwe

Take your s'mores game beyond the basics with this next-level campfire upgrade. Slide a peanut butter cup onto a marshmallow roasting skewer, dip it generously into a jar of marshmallow fluff, then hold it over the fire just until the fluff gets golden and gooey. The heat softens the chocolate and peanut butter while the marshmallow toasts on the outside for the ultimate sweet, melty bite when sandwiched between two graham crackers. It’s everything you love about a s'more, turned up a notch! No campfire? No problem! Grab your kitchen torch and you're in business.
