Babies, babies, and MORE babies! 🐮
There’s always plenty of work to do around here! From tagging calves in a couple of different fields to tracking down mamas who like to hide their babies (including one little guy tucked away in the blackberry bushes), there’s never a dull moment! We spent another day shuffling cows and calves from one field to another and checking on all the mamas and their little ones.
Taking cows up and down the road is ALWAYS an adventure!

We spent yesterday checking on some of the cows, and new babies are arriving! 🐄
One little calf was left all alone because momma saw us coming and took off—she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us! 😂 But don’t worry, momma and baby are safely hooked back up and all is well.
We also got some tagging done and had to doctor a couple of cows. Busy day, but a good day!
We finished the day with our daily feeding of the steers. Here are a couple of our messy eaters! They act like they’re starving—they get REALLY excited for dinner!
