I want to give all my followers a heads up about my upcoming vacation!
I will be out of cell service from Sunday, August 9th to Saturday, August 15th for my Disney cruise!
I am so excited! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a Disney freak.... And may be surprised to know I've never been on a Disney cruise!
So, while I am gone, if anyone has a SOAP EMERGENCY, please go check out Oakdale Farms Country Barn! They have a lineup of my best sellers.

Hope everyone is staying cool in this heat wave!
I tried putting frozen veggies in water for the chickens, but they just looked at me like I was crazy 🤣 I could see them thinking "WTF is this?"
Well, I tried.
Also harvested the garlic before the heat! A great harvest this season! No split cloves!

The chicks have been moved to their new digs!
A separated pen inside the big coop so they can start getting acquainted with the adult hens! They are certainly enjoying the dust bathing opportunities!

Went to bed last night with 2 fluffy butts hatched ...
Woke up to 10! With 2 more working at it!
If the last 2 do ok, that means ALL of the eggs I put into lockdown hatched! Incredible!

Unfortunately, the risk you take with shipped eggs is that some don't make it.
Half of these eggs did not develop enough to make it to full chick, including all of the Brahma eggs I ordered. It's not the breeder's fault, since most of them developed to a very small embryo

But, we have Marans and Olive Eggers! And a silver one to boot!
