I’m not raising spoiled cattle. I’m raising cattle with very high expectations. 🍪🐮😂 They act a lot like my children 😉

If this old tractor could talk, I bet it would have a few stories to tell. Of long days, early mornings, generations of hard work, and a way of life that’s becoming harder to find.

Here’s to the old iron, the land we love, and keeping a little piece of yesterday alive. ❤️🚜 Happy Monday Folks!

There’s something special about the ones who are a little different. 🤎

Born October 4th to Coco and Stetson, this sweet little girl came into the world sporting a beautiful creamy golden coat, the sweetest little face, and a pair of tiny teddy bear ears unlike any we’ve had born here before.

Her first few hours were a little wobbly. One of her front legs wasn’t quite cooperating, and she needed some extra time to find her footing. It happens sometimes but with each passing day, she’s getting stronger, straightening those little legs, and even kicking up her heels.

And those ears? They’re certainly part of what makes her Cora. 🧸Neither parent has a known history of crop ear in their lineage but it’s something we will investigate further. We believe in celebrating the beautiful things about our cattle while also being transparent about the unexpected ones. Every calf teaches us something and at this time Cora is NFS.

In a world where flashy markings and unusual colors seem to get all the attention, I’ll always have a soft spot for the traditional Highland colors. There’s something timeless about a beautiful, solid-colored calf and that unmistakable Highland charm.

Cora might not have arrived with all the bells and whistles, but she’s already found a way to stand out and she’s stollen our hearts.

Sometimes the simplest things are the sweetest. 🤎
