Do you have calves that will not come out from behind their mamas so it makes it super hard to spray them with fly spray? Grab a super soaker and add some fly spray. Cheap solution with amazing results!!!

We may not have the current required credentials to certify as an inspector but we still found it important to be knowledgeable in the situation since an infestation was located 1 county (approx 20 minutes) away from us putting us in the surveillance zone. Our livestock's wellbeing depends on our diligence to monitor their health.

On June 11, 2026, a Tom Green County bovine was confirmed to be infested with NWS. An infested zone is being formed around the detection and will be reflected on the TAHC interactive map once it is officially established. Flies in the chicken coop solution... Tested and proved true... we hung it from the ceiling. It's been a week and the coop smells amazing /not a fly in sight.
