I’m obsessed with this eucalyptus, especially paired with burgundy amaranth. The eucalyptus brings silvery-green leaves and a fresh, woodsy fragrance, while the amaranth spills into deep wine-colored tassels with a velvety, dramatic texture. Together, their rich autumn hues and layered movement create all the cozy fall vibes. 🍂

And the wildest part? Both plants grew over 10 feet tall this season! These towering beauties made an unforgettable statement in the garden. 🤎

A SWEET new milestone! 🍯🐝

We harvested our very first honey — 35 pounds straight from our own hives!

After months of caring for the bees, watching them work the flowers around the farm, and wondering what our first harvest might bring, it was pretty exciting to finally see all that beautiful golden honey come out of the frames.

My husband, daughter and grandkids joined me for our first harvest, which made this farm milestone even more special. Thank you Sabine Creek Honey Farm for helping us with our first honey harvest! 

And the best part? Our honey will be available for purchase soon! 🍯

Small-batch, locally harvested honey from the bees that call our little farm home. We can’t wait to bottle it up and share it with you!

If you only look at the leaves, you’ll probably miss squash vine borers until it’s too late.

This pumpkin plant looks healthy, but a quick stem inspection revealed fresh vine borer damage. That’s why I check my pumpkin stems regularly and inject BT into the stem as soon as I find signs of activity—before the plant starts wilting.

Catching them early can mean the difference between harvesting pumpkins… or losing the entire vine.

Don’t wait until your plant looks sick. Check those stems!
