I’ve got several yearling does who need to find greener pastures! Prices can be seen in the following photos, or viewed on my website (summersageranch.net). I’ve also got some bottle bucklings I need to get moved- some can go registered ($350 each), some unregistered & disbudded ($75 each), some unregistered & horned ($50 each).

The selling process is my least favorite part of owning goats (other than disbudding), that said I prefer a hassle free exchange. Most information can be found on my website. If this group doesn’t find homes soon, they will be headed to the “barn.”

The herd tested negative for CAE, Johnes, Brucellosis, & Q-Fever March 2026; we’ve always had negative CL tests, but have decided to test any suspicious abscesses going forward in lieu of the bloodwork.

A couple announcements!

🥛 We have a few gallons of goat milk available today!
🥛 Milk can be picked up today and tomorrow, but not on Thursday & Friday. Sales will resume on Saturday.
🥛Our milk can be picked up at a couple locations other than the farm:
- Jessica’s Moo Juice in Beebe, AR
- Margot’s Farm Store in Quitman, AR
(You must arrange pick-up with them, NOT me)
🥛 On-farm pick-up:
$8/half gallon
$15/gallon
Located in Romance, AR

Our milk is stored in glass jars, but sold in plastic jugs. Fresh, raw, filtered.

I recommend bringing a cooler to keep the milk cold during travel. Raw milk does best and keeps longer (up to 2 weeks, sometimes longer!) when kept cold.

We accept CashApp, PayPal friends & family, and cash (I prefer cash).

Some of our 2025 doelings!

This is the first time these girls have been set-up, some were more cooperative than others. The most ornery happened to be the bottle babies. Hoping to get the rest photographed soon.

2024 Yearlings!

This was the first time that these girls were ever set up, so there's lots of squatting going on. I will make individual posts for each with more detailed information at a later date. I can't wait to see these girls freshen for the first time this coming spring. Diva is also pictured at the end; she is a full sister to Cadron Hill LD Tippy Toes and she will be a 3-year-old first freshener (due to no fault of her own). I purchased her earlier this year with the hopes that she will follow in her big sister's footsteps.

🛑Effective November 1st, 2025:🛑
Milk sales will increase to $8/half gallon or $15/gallon for on-farm sales. I’ve put this off for far too long and at my expense. The input costs are too high for my prices to remain where they are. I hope all of my current customers will understand, and I hope to continue providing this nutritious product for you.

This is so relatable! Right now I’m milking twice a day, but with a baby + day-to-day life + wanting any kind of social life, that may change. 🤷‍♀️ I have to tell myself on a daily basis that I’m not doing this for anyone but myself. I constantly try to meet all these imaginary expectations that I think others have for me + my herd, when in reality my own expectations are the only ones that matter. What’s the point if there’s no enjoyment? I just need to focus on MY goals for myself + my herd. Yes, I want to prove my animals, I know what they’re capable of, but I have to do it at a pace that’s suitable to my life and quit comparing myself to others.

Grab a piping hot cup of coffee, and let's chat about how twice a day milking was about to do me in.

I would say I am INCREDIBLY self motivated/disciplined. I don't say this lightly or to boast, but to give some context. I don't mind being uncomfortable for the sake of a good goal.

But I lasted about a month with milking twice a day, and I'm calling it quits on that 🫠 I pretty much was ready to stop doing it about a week after starting. LOL We calf shared for almost 8 months, so twice a day milking was a shock to my system right away. I wanted to push through (and did for a very short time), but I just don't have what it takes for all that right now. All that to say...

It's okay to change your mind. It's okay to not be able to do something. It's okay to make the wrong decision and need to change course. It's okay to make adjustments from season to season to prevent overwhelm. If the whole thing is so hard that there is no room for joy, then what are we even doing it all for? 🩷
