We’re a certified organic farm in Romeo, Michigan, growing top-quality produce and seasonal flowers. Lisa and Matt Jaroch founded Cold Frame Farm in 2012.

Lisa left a successful career as a landscape architect to pursue her dream of running an organic farm. She and Matt turned a 27-acre patch of land in Romeo, Michigan into a thriving farm, producing a wide variety of nutrient-dense produce for restaurants and members of the local community. We’re committed to regenerative farming practices that restore the landscape and foster a sustainable way of

living. But most importantly, we work to contribute to the health and happiness of our neighbors and friends. We are proud to say we use no GMOs, herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.

Happy Thursday!! Or as we call it on the farm, “Harvest Day” 🌿🧄🍎🍈🧀

This week we have a few new items! If you are familiar with our party pack tomato quarts, then you’ll love this: this week we will be featuring “tomato party pints” which are a mixture of our delicious cherry tomato varieties (sungold, cherry bomb, and artisan bumblebee). It’s a burst of beautiful colors and also gives you the opportunity to try different kinds all in one compact pint. To go along with your tomatoes, we think basil would make a wonderful pairing for all your cooking needs.

We will also have a limited amount of locally grown organic apples, a french melon variety called Anna’s Charentais, huge kale, honey, fire cider, power bites, goat cheese& milk, garlic, and so much more! Come check it out.

Patty Pans are what we call the “Cadillac of summer squash”. Featuring scalloped edges and bold colors, they are sure to be a show-stopper for any meal! If you have not given them a try, you need to!! They are so yummy and fun! 🤩

The crew has been hard at work today tying up our field tomatoes. Swipe through to see a nice before and after!! Tying them up helps us to harvest efficiently and effectively. It also helps the plants get the airflow they need to stay healthy and gives them the support they need to grow strong. Did anyone say peppers!?? We heard the bell 🫑

We started harvesting a few of our pepper varieties this week and they did not disappoint!

Along with peppers, we will have a fully stocked store including Ashley Kruszyna shrubs & syrups, garlic, onions, tomatoes, and soo much more! Come see us and the rest of our bountiful harvest!
