We’ll be at the Ruston Farmers Market tomorrow from 9 AM to 1 PM!

We’ll have fresh-baked bread, cinnamon rolls, muffins, fudge, granola, oat bars, local raw honey, honey/pepper fusion, farm-fresh eggs, goat milk soap, beard oil, foaming face wash, and more.

Come see us and support the local growers, bakers, makers, and producers who make the Ruston Farmers Market such a great place to spend your Saturday morning.

It’s hot. The gardens are finished, and honestly, so are we.

The Briarhill Farms Farm Stand will be closed through August while we catch our breath and begin making the transition into fall and the holiday season at the farm.

We’ll still pop up at the Ruston Farmers Market a few Saturdays during August with honey, soaps, Pepper Honey Fusion, books, and whatever else we can round up. We’ll keep you posted on the dates.

Thank you for showing up, shopping local, and supporting our little farm throughout another unpredictable Louisiana summer. Every purchase, visit, share, and kind word has meant more to us than you probably realize.

Now, somebody point us toward some air-conditioning. We’ll see y’all in September or at the Farmers Market!

Just like that… tomato season waved goodbye.

We appreciate every tomato you bought, every kind word you shared, and every mile you drove to support our little farm. Now we’ll all have to pretend those pale grocery store tomatoes taste the same.

Spoiler alert… They don’t.

See y’all in the morning!!!

Tomorrow is Ruston Farmers’ Market day, and Briarhill Farms WILL be there from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM!

A couple of things to know:
• We may not be in our usual spot, so take a stroll through the market and come find us.
• We may not have a huge selection of fresh produce this week, it’s just too hot but we’ll still have plenty of good things!

Look for:
• Local honey
•Raw Goat Milk
• Eggs
• Pepper Honey Fusion
• Goat milk & specialty soaps
• Beard care products
• Granola
• Oat bars
• Fresh baked goodies
• Books by Tom Faber
• And whatever fresh produce we were able to harvest.

More importantly, come support ALL the local growers, producers, bakers, and makers. Every purchase keeps dollars in our local communities and helps small family businesses keep doing what they love.

The tomato season is winding down, and this really is the last of our homegrown tomatoes. If you've been meaning to get some, now's the time.

I know produce has been in the news a lot lately, we are happy to report that the the only “explosive” anything from Briarhill Farms produce is the tastebuds that get to eat it.

We are open at the farm stand this week Wednesday through Friday, we will not be at the Ruston Farmers Market due to a death in our extended family.

Come see us Wednesday through Friday 9am-6pm for tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, a few watermelons (red and yellow meat) and lots more.

Make the short drive to Clay, between Ruston and Quitman for fresh and local goodies.
