Late Summer we like to prune the tips from the aggressive growing lower branches and tuck the green fruit underneath the plant to hide it from the sun. Every zone has a different climate but for us we are unlikely to get ripe fruit from blossoms at this time anyways. Excessive Sun exposure causes Sun scald, and they can easily be stepped on when they end up too far out in the rows.
Nip and Tuck 👍🌱✌️🍅

Late season tomato pruning. Nip the tips of any branches growing in the wrong location or going the wrong direction. That energy will be transferred into other parts of your plant.
At this point in the season most tomato growers won't have time to go from flowers to ripe fruit anyway so it's best to transfer that energy towards growing and ripening the tomatoes already on your plant 👍🌱✌️🍅

This mind blowing specimen appeared on 1 plant last season. We collected seeds and grew out 24 plants this year to give it an evaluation.
All plants gave the same results both in plant habitat and fruit. Considering this is an F-2 and should show segregation it appears to be a mutation which are rare but breed true right away.
If you have a tomato plant that gives unusual fruits, is extremely vigorous or disease tolerant be sure to save some 🍅 seeds

Thinking of auctioning off the naming rights to this NEW AMAZING tomato variety. We have worked on it for many years and it is ready for release this Fall. Would you be interested? 👍🌱✌️🍅

Possibly the most BEAUTIFUL tomato clusters we have seen! Seeds we're taken from one very beautiful and unusual tomato plant last season.
That makes this an F-2 so it should be showing various traits from both parents, however 24 plants all expressed the same traits.
This is typically what happens when you get a rare mutation, all of the offspring are genetically the same so it can really speed up the breeding process 👍🌱✌️🍅
