Some wines are more than a vintage, they’re a little piece of history.

Our 2023 Zinfandel comes from a family vineyard in El Dorado County that had been growing grapes since the 1930s.

We hand harvested the grapes and fermented the fruit natively in our concrete egg, then aged it in barrel for about 30 months before bottling it unfiltered.

The result? Big, ripe & unapologetically delicious. Think plum, cherry pie, baking spice & vanilla, with clove, licorice & espresso lingering on the finish.

Pair it with a burger, red-sauce pasta or eggplant parm. 🍷 it’s also in September’s quarterly pickup for Winemaker Club members! Pick up an extra bottle or two for your long weekend.

🍇 Harvest Update! 🍇

We’re officially over 50% done with harvest and slowing down just a bit to savor the season. Some standouts so far are Riesling and Carignane!

Thanks to a mild spring and summer, the grapes have enjoyed gradual, steady growing conditions with a little bit lower yields which creates amazing, focused flavors.

We also welcomed a newbie to the harvest lineup: Nero d’Avola, a high-acid Italian red that we can’t wait to see shine in this vintage.

Did you know we’re a full urban winery? We partner with vineyards within a 60-mile radius of REV, harvest the grapes, and bring them back to our winery at S & 29th Streets, where every step of the winemaking process happens right here in Midtown.
