Every time we look for a wedding, it’s personal we don’t see it as a business transaction. We believe that every couple who choose us to be part of their big day, it’s because of a very special reason and for that very same reason we always try to overdeliver we’re so grateful for this two amazing human beings who trust us, and who became part of our lives and we became part of theirs. We have such an amazing time and we’re thankful for all the other people who took part of this endeavors.

The art of mole is complex and old. Mole is originally thought to have been created in Mexico’s Oaxaca or Puebla regions. The actual origin of the word can be traced back to the Nahuatl word “mulli,” which translates as “sauce”. It traces a long history to pre-Colomian times and is a dish that has put Mexican cuisine on the world map. There are seven master moles, but in reality, the dish has thousands of variations.

This one is “mole costeño” served with braised short rib , and a sweet potato purée with grasshoppers. We made fresh heirloom corn tortillas to go with this dish, all the plates came back clean and was praised as one of the highlights of the meal. 🥘

So gratifying to be able to go back to my roots and make some delicious food., this couple wants traditional Mexican food and of course we have to make it the proper way, no shortcuts. Made a trio of tacos for the cocktail hour, a stuffed sweet potato with mushrooms (huitlacoche) will be the final ingredient, fresh corn, onions, bell pepper, summer squash, epazote (vegan option).. For the main we presented a mole negro with bone in chicken drumstick and thigh. For dessert, churros (fresh made of course) and fresh made vanilla ice cream. We’re now booking for all the holidays and 2027.
