Deer Ranch The Deer Ranch is the oldest live whitetail exhibit in North America. It opened in 1950. We have about 30 adult deer and 6-12 fawns each year.

Guests can feed the deer for a nominal fee. In operation for 60 years, the Deer Ranch in Saint Ignace is the oldest whitetail exhibit in North America. Twenty-eight adult deer reside at the Deer Ranch, along with a number of fawns each spring. Get up close, take pictures, feed crackers/carrots/apples to the bucks and does, bottle feed the fawns, and create lasting memories! Just 4 miles West of the Mackinac Bridge!

Greetings from the Deer Ranch!
This weekend, we are celebrating our 75th Anniversary! Richard Smith award winning outdoor writer and photographer will be on hand, Saturday, to sign his books, Great Michigan Deer Tales, Understanding Michigan Black Bear and Black Bear Hunting.
Harold Kriesche, previous owner of the Deer Ranch will be on hand Sunday to sign his book, Deer Whisperer 25 years of raising whitetails. Plus, we will have children's games and mystery bags for purchase. We look forward to your visit!
