What a weekend at the American Wagyu Association Conference!

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was having the Meat Dudes judge the America’s Greatest Steak competition and we are beyond excited and humbled to share that Santos Patronos made the TOP 4 greatest steaks in America. 🥩
To be competing alongside some of the best Wagyu producers in the country and to have our beef recognized this way is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Less than five years ago, we started this Wagyu adventure with a dream, a lot of hard work, and a whole lot of faith. Looking back at how far we’ve come, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for every door God has opened and every person who has been part of this journey.

We’re proud, we’re grateful, and we know the work isn’t finished. We can’t wait to see what’s next. 🤍

We’re in OKC for the American Wagyu Association Conference! 🤠 American Wagyu Association

We love spending time with our Wagyu friends and making new ones along the way.

Day one kicked off with the “Everything But Steak” competition, and Santos Patronos brought home two awards: Best Branded Product and Best Usable Product! 🏆

Santos Patronos Ranch is excited to partner with newly opened Blackdoor Steakhouse in Seguin. Every night has been sold out for a reason. These guys rock! The place, the vibe, the service, the the bar, the food, and of course the meat (especially the Wagyu!) are hitting on all cylinders.

Having traveled much of the world and eaten at many of the best restaurants, we speak with experience when it comes to fine dining. Blackdoor Steakhouse IS fine dining. We no longer have to drive to Austin or fly to Vegas for a great culinary experience. The prices are more than fair for world class food and service.

Santos Patronos Wagyu is 100% fullblood Japanese black Wagyu, DNA verified, USDA inspected, no growth hormones or antibiotics. All of our animals are pampered from birth to harvest at 30 months of age (almost twice the age of commercial steers). The intense level of marbling, the tenderness and buttery flavor will blow you away. Yes, authentic Wagyu costs more than commercial beef. That’s because it costs so much more to produce this luxury beef.

And get this. Almost everything that tastes good seems to be bad for us. But authentic fullblood Wagyu beef is proven to be heart healthy with more monounsaturated fat and Omegas 3, 6 and 9 than commercial beef. Texas A&M published the most recent study on this subject.

Bottom line is that Seguin is most fortunate to have a fantastic steakhouse. Congratulations Pete and Jake for bringing us the best! Thank you for letting us share the ride. We pray for your success.
