This month, we’re proud to recognize Dimas Erik Perez Romero of La Favorita Supermercado!

Dimas has dedicated 28 years to the butcher trade, beginning his career at just 16 years old. After getting his start at a municipality slaughterhouse, his uncle gave him the opportunity to learn the trade at his butcher shop. That opportunity helped shape the career Dimas is still so proud of today.

Over the years, Dimas has built his career around doing things the right way, taking care of his customers, and helping them discover new cuts to enjoy at home. He especially recommends top blade and loves grilling over wood, with a juicy ribeye being one of his personal favorites.

For Dimas, being named Butcher of the Month is especially meaningful after nearly three decades in the trade.

“It is not only a recognition for my labor, it is also a blessing. You have to do your job with love and care.”
