Veterans! "Farms of the Brave" is a new event brought by Palmetto Veterans in Agribusiness and the South Carolina Ag+Art Tour. Black Walnut Farmstead is happy to be a host farm for Saturday, May 23rd and we want to involve creative local veterans here. So, if you're a musician, a crafter, a storyteller, a farmer yourself, a baker, a maker, etc, come join us as a vendor or exhibiter or simply to be part of a new creation. Thanks to our dedicated circle's "yarn mentors" and those of you who have voiced your fiber craft dreams, we'll be offering monthly classes in knitting and crocheting .. and other fiber crafts along the way! Our goat, Domino, enjoyed a Nature Walk with his new friends Clay & Sandy Dixon this week. It was, as Sandy shared in her own post, "magical!"
