Well, we have just ONE HOUR LEFT to donate to Elaine Day.
The outpouring of kindness today has affected me in a very profound way.
I have my Elaine story, but so do many of you. It has been an honor and privilege to hear them today.
To everyone who donated, stopped by, shared the post, or simply offered a kind word—thank you. You have shown just how much good people can do when they come together.

Elaine Day Update

Saturday is fast approaching, and the response has been absolutely amazing. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, donated, and offered to help.

I saw Elaine last night while she was working her night shift at Drug Mart. My heart truly breaks for her. As many of you know, her husband is still in the neurological step-down unit at Cleveland Clinic and is now in comfort care.

Your donations will help give Elaine the ability to take some time away from work so she can be with her husband during his final days.

We have changed the donation location. Instead of taking donations to Drug Mart in Avon Lake, please bring them to my BBQ:

Donations can be dropped off Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

We currently have one wonderful volunteer, Dina, helping with the donations. Thank you so much, Dina! ❤️
