Great Raft Brewing is a Shreveport, Louisiana based craft brewery dedicated to making creative, authentic beer and helping to build a great beer culture within communities it serves. Co-founders Andrew and Lindsay Nations are Shreveport natives with a passion for beer. We’re bringing back a pretty special one today.

Pageant Material is our wine/beer hybrid, co-fermented with local Blanc du Bois grapes from Landry Vineyard. Belgian yeast brings out a fruit-forward aroma, while fresh-pressed grapes give this one a refreshing acidity with citrus undertones.

You’ll get plenty of white grape character, a bright, tart finish, and a beer that definitely doesn’t taste like your average beer.

Another day, another dollar, another dry hop.

We are back with another Turnback Tuesday. Today we are featuring 2022 Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Mad Joy.

Old Mad Joy is a Baltic porter with layered malt complexities of chocolate, coffee and roasted barley. This dark and rich lager shines with a boozy but restrained sweetness and builds a slight fruitiness as it warms. This batch was aged 13 months in freshly dumped Heaven Hill bourbon barrels before bottling. Gold wax.

Today we are starting something new.

Every Tuesday, we will be releasing a selected number of vintage bottles from the cellar, available on-site for pours.

Today, August 4, we are excited to pour Oceans Between Us - Batch 004 - double dry hopped with El Dorado hops. Originally released in 2017 (9 whole years ago!!), this beer has aged really beautifully. While the hops have faded, it has developed a significant funkiness that Brettanomyces is known for.

Let us pour you one today, and stay tuned for what we will be releasing next Tuesday.
