In 1988, Walt McNutt relocated the former H&H Implement from Choteau, MT. to Sidney. That same year, Walt's daughter Tami and her husband Larry Christensen joined what had become Tri-County Implement. They have since purchased the majority of the company. During Tri-County's 33 years in Sidney, we have expanded 4 times. The most recent addition involved demolishing a 30' X 40' parts area and build
ing a 7200 sq. ft shop and expanded parts area with a conference room and specialty tool and parts storage upstairs. The expansion was necessary to accommodate the increased work load and ever-larger farm equipment. Tri-County Implement continually provides training to keep our staff up to date on the latest advances in farm equipment and technology. Tri-County promoted and installed the first RTK unit in the area which gives farmers the advantage of using a satellite signal to run their pivots and tractors. Tyler Christensen, who has been trained on the cutting edge of GPS and AFS farming, has helped the precision farming department grow 150% in the last 6 years. Tri-County’s parts department is managed by Lee Pourroy who moved from Choteau to Sidney with the company 33 years ago, but had been with the company for many years prior to the move. Olly Redfern is a new addition to our parts department. Our service department is managed by Wade Roberts and includes technicians, Jim Propp and Tyler Christensen. Tri-County Implement is a full Case-IH dealership that carries many short lines to help our customers achieve maximum productivity. Customers can stop in and talk to Drue about all their equipment needs. Larry, Tami, Tyler and the crew at Tri-County look forward to serving the community for a long time to come.
