KOINER FARM STAND THURSDAY & ETHIOPIAN CELEBRATIONS 5-7pm – 9/17!
KOINER FARM at 737 Easley St off Fenton St in
Downtown Silver Spring.
This week, CKC is hosting our signature '3rd Thursday' farm party at Koiner Farm - themed this month in honor of Ethiopian New Year (መልካም አዲስ አመት) from 5-7pm!
This is the most popular event at the farm all season and the largest attendance.

Celebrate Ethiopian New Year!
at Koiner Farm Third Thursday (9/17, 5-7pm)
• Enjoy traditional dance with Thomas Young
• Participate in the drum circle led by Kojjo of the Heritage Village Project
• Have a bite from Mimi's Wellness Ethiopian Food
• Taste farm-fresh herbal lemonade from Amen's Kickoff Lemonade
• Sip Ethiopian coffee, traditionally roasted with Mistaye Coffee

• Charlie Tomatoes – $5 large quart -2 to 2 ½ pounds

The Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming (CKC) is excited to invite you to our fifth annual Harvest Dinner & Dance at our beautiful Koiner Farm! The Harvest Dance supports programs that promote nutritious food, social-emotional connections, and resilient communities. This signature event features an intimate urban farm setting with delicious food and beverages, under a canopy of twinkling lights nestled among vibrant Downtown Silver Spring.
An anticipated 100+ donors, neighbors, and community leaders will gather for lighthearted dances, fireside laughs, a fabulous farm-to-table meal, and recognition of our "Gourd Award" recipients.
