Another staff spotlight!

Jay is one of our bartenders, kitchen staff, and also designs our can art!

They’re originally from Brooklyn, NY but ended up here in Silver Spring

They’re all time favorite THBC beer is Westsiiieed and they’re favorite movie is Goodfellas

They make some of their own music and have performed at many different venues around NYC, their favorite band being Worry Club

Some of their hobbies are collecting vintage cameras, playing with their three cats and two dogs, and training for an upcoming half marathon

So, come out on Sept 13 for our first ever book exchange! (Seems like a long time coming!) Make friends, talk about why you loved your books, grab a pint and leave the extras on our shelf for others to enjoy!

We love crossing things off our board!

This is what happens when people you meet on the trail in California live in and they’re awesome.

THE STORY:
“U-Haul” hiked the John Muir Trail this summer. 200 miles. Her friend “Harris” carried food in to meet her and they finished the last 70 miles together. They’re BOTH DCPS teachers - so basically heroes.

We(Danielle Sliter and Jonathan) met them and “Da Boys” on the second day of our hike and hiked and camped together for a few days while our paths overlapped. Talk about !!

Keep your eyes peeled and get your tastebuds ready for some inspired soon!

This is Molly, she’s part of the kitchen staff but loves to bartend when she can!

- Molly is originally from Fort Hood, Texas but has lived many other places, including Germany, before landing in Rockville, MD

- She’ll soon be returning to DePaul University in Chicago to continue studying Graphic Design

- She aspires to travel the world and live in Europe after college, getting a head start with a study abroad trip to Scandinavia this winter

She hopes to meet you before she leaves so…
