We finally got rain. This is the first measurable rain since late May, early June. Moisture is great but this amount in a short time causes flooding. But I’ll still take it.

Huge suprise at the Quantum Bison ranch. We have a new calf from #51 Ollie , she’s my Oklahoma heifer I bought as a calf. My plans were a meat animal but she grew up and looked like she had really good genetics coming from nature reserve in Oklahoma. And she had been ready for 3 weeks but was making me nervous. Calf appears healthy and a couple days old. But wow late in the year. I have 2 left to calf 🤞🤞🤞 🎬

Dusty Baker texted me this today. HUGE SUPRISE!! Queenbee #53 had her calf. Calf was born on July 4th!!! What a special omen!!! Calf is around 2-3 days old and looks very healthy. I’m very nervous since we had lost her last 2 calves. But moving her to Oklahoma was my last chance for her. Dusty has taken great care of her and 🙌🙌🙌 this is what she needed and raise a beautiful calf. More to come!!!!
