L Bell Ranch Cattle Ranch The L Bell Ranch is a small family owned and operated business, located in beautiful Skull Valley. The ranch now has an Angus and Angus/Cross herd.

Lloyd and Leslie Bell began raising Registered Black Angus cattle on the ranch in the 1960s. The ranch is composed of a varied terrain with most of the land on the valley floor. Many of these acres are irrigated pastures filled with a variety of grasses, legumes and native plants. This provides the cattle with a diverse array of nutrients, keeping them happy and healthy. sed with no hormones, no antibiotics and no feeds other than pasture grass with hay forage added in the winter. They have access to lots of water and sunshine! Our flock of cage-free, mixed-breed chickens provides eggs throughout the year. Herbs, vegetables and plants are grown naturally with no chemical sprays or fertilizers using organic methods.

Mark is rebuilding our neighbors windmill. It blew apart and crashed to the ground. The old fan was crumpled. He rebuilt the motor and is attaching the new fan parts. It's for pumping water for our cattle in the mountain pasture.

I love the hawk photo bombing this video! This shows the lush pasture grasses our 'food chain' animals grow up in. The main herd of cows, calves, and bulls are in the 'outback' area of the ranch. Very stark difference between the areas. We're waiting for rain. The smallest amount of moisture will get the natives growing quickly!

Our cows calve 'outback'. Our range land area. We're sure hopeful we'll get some rains. There's a stark difference between the outback and our irrigated pastures.
