🔥 New item!!! 🔥 We now carry Korean-style beef short ribs, and they are delicious! We have non-marinated, smokehouse, and as of tomorrow we will also have Korean BBQ style marinade.

Don’t forgot our 3+ pound packages of big meaty wings! We’ve got a couple marinades to choose from.

And, we have Creekstone Farms ground beef! Just $6.99 per pound with the purchase of any other item. Limit 5.

Looking to make your own marinade for the Korean-style short ribs? Here’s what we did for dinner!

1-1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tsp of minced ginger
1 tbsp Chili oil
1/2 tsp of Black pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of onion powder
Add fresh chunks of onion (about 1/2 an onion)
Add half a bell pepper
Half a cup of oil — sesame oil or any other oil

Let that marinate a few hours in the fridge, then grill over medium heat or bake in the oven at 375 for about 20 minutes.

The best deli meat you’ve ever had. No joke. This isn’t the questionable stuff from the grocery store. It’s soooo good. Tri tip, pastrami, smoked ham, and smoked turkey.

Ground beef!!! Yeah, we have it! No need to deal with all that drama at the grocery store. Our ground beef comes from Creekstone Farms, an award-winning black angus farm based in Kansas.

We have four happy customers picking up their 1/4 steers today, just back from processing at Kountry Meats in Elk Grove. We are thrilled to have such a great local butcher for our Sloughhouse beef. If you want to get in on the next one, we’re looking at a November processing date, and currently just two quarters left. After that we don’t have any availability til early spring. Sloughhouse beef moooooooves pretty quickly, don’t miss out!

What’s for dinner? How about shrimp and vegetable kabobs? This is one of my favorite things to make! Super easy and quick, and most importantly delicious!

For three people, I used the following: one pound of peeled and deveined Argentine red shrimp (buy these from us!), one zucchini, two bell peppers, and half a sweet onion (you can get all this Davis Ranch L.L.C.!). We always have shrimp, and firmly believe in grilling year-round, but take advantage of the vegetables while they are in season!

Marinade:

1/3 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced

First, toss the vegetables in the marinade and then go ahead and skewer them.

Then put the shrimp in the marinade for 15 minutes and fire up the grill, medium heat.

Grill the zucchini and onions for 8 minutes per side.

Grill the peppers for 4 minutes per side.

Grill the shrimp 2 minutes per side.

Adjust the quantity to however many you’re serving! This was perfect for three. Would be delicious served over rice too!
