We had beautiful rainstorm come across the ranch. While we were over on the hill piece, we watched the rain come over the mountain, hit the ranch house, and continue to us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Friday Night Lights! Whether you came to shop, eat, listen to music, perform during Open Mic Night, volunteer, or simply spend time with friends and family, we appreciate your support.

Friday Night Lights was created to bring our community together, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing vendors, entertainers, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees.

As we continue to grow, we welcome your ideas, suggestions, and involvement. If there’s something you’d like to see at a future event, or if you’d like to volunteer, sponsor an activity, help with planning, or lend a hand in any way, we’d love to hear from you. Community events are strongest when the community helps shape them.

A quick reminder that there will be no Friday Night Lights on June 26 or July 3.

Our next event will be part of Hometown Heroes Week, taking place July 7–11, as we honor our veterans and welcome The Wall That Heals to Star Valley. We hope you’ll join us for this special week of remembrance, community, and gratitude.

Out with the old and in with the new. We needed an upgrade on our squeeze chute. The old one was still functioning but not very safely. Thank you Slow Food in the Tetons for helping fund the Squeeze chute.

We had a good rainstorm which was much needed. We didn't get the snow that we normally do, so any amount of moisture is a prayer answered. After the storm, we got a beautiful rainbow.

There’s something incredibly special happening at the Afton Food Pantry this week… and it’s coming straight from Wyoming families, farms, and ranches.

Thanks to the Wyoming Department of Family Services and the Wyoming Forward Grant, our patrons are receiving fresh, local foods that are nourishing families while supporting hardworking Wyoming producers at the same time.

This week’s lineup is absolutely beautiful:
🥬 Gorgeous produce from Silver Stream Farm
🥛 Cream-top pasteurized milk and Skyr yogurt from Shumway Farms — now coming weekly!
🥚 Farm fresh eggs from Circle H Ranch
🥩 Incredible protein from Salt River Ranch and Squire Farms

From crisp greens and colorful tomatoes to local milk, eggs, yogurt, lamb, and beef — these are the kinds of foods that make a real difference around the dinner table.

We are so grateful for the partnerships, hard work, and heart behind every item donated and purchased through this program. Supporting local producers while feeding local families is a win for our entire community. 🩵
