Pruned and weeded all the rows of tomatoes this weekend.

A pruned tomato plant, is a happy plant that grows many more tomatoes! (But always make sure your variety is indeterminate before pruning).

Just off the path that sits right behind the garden, we stumbled upon this little new fawn.

Thankfully the dogs did not touch it, and we were able to walk away and let it be. We could see where Mama had been laying in the tall grass. We've seen a lot of twins over the years, so not sure if there's a twin around... But snuck out of the area, and keeping the dogs close to the house for the day, so mama can come back and tend to her little one.

Very precious.
