Been doing some renovating of the bunny room to make things easier to manage regularly and solo. It’s easy to get frustrated when things don’t line up like you think they should, so when “boy the younger” sends me this cute kitten cuddle pic from the garage, my heart melted. It reminded me that being able to breathe and bask in the little moments will make it so worth all the struggles in the end!❤️

Maize is now with her new family. She’s already picked her person. She had come so far in the year and a half she was with us, and as bittersweet as this decision has been, I’m truly happy for all involved.

Yesterday, 17 chicks successfully hatched. And I kept saying 23 eggs, but there were 21. 🤣🤣🤣 Apparently that chicken math is even with imaginary numbers. 🫣😜
