If you've driven down Spring Cypress Road this past week near Gleannloch Farms, you may have seen a new sign up on the far west side of the shopping center near Karma Kolache - Spring Cypress Location. My buddy Matt and his sweetheart Jennie have been hard at work for months now getting that space built out and ready for FiiZ Drinks Texas to move in. If you haven't heard of FiiZ yet, that's ok. You know about them now. And as soon as they are open ya gotta visit them. FiiZ offers specialty sodas, smoothies, and snacks and treats. This is the first FiiZ in Texas, and it may even be the first specialty soda shop in all of Texas (but don't quote me on that). Anyway - they are just a few weeks away from their grand opening. So get ready for some really delicious specialty sodas. I think my favorite drink may be what they call a "Captain Jack Sparrow", which starts with a Dr Pepper base and then adds in coconut, pineapple, raspberry puree and cream. Talk about a great way to doctor a pepper! Wow! There are so many different choices of bases and mixins. Can't wait til they're open officially...
