Back from our favorite 2 day double comp the O'So Good BBQ Festival. Garreth runs a great comp and we love coming here. Randy and Carol did a great job repping as well.
Friday night we cooked wings to give out for the Wings and Wheels Cruise in. Peach habanero and Alabama white sauce. Good crowd for the event and we almost ran out of wings.
Saturday had a full slate of turn ins

Overall 3rd 👑 (RRGC lol)
Carnival - 6th place Fried Oreos
Dessert - 7th place bread pudding
Kids q burger- 4th place jalapeño popper burger
Congrats to Puddleduck BBQ for GC and Bentley Que for RGC. We were parked right in between them 😆
Saturday night at dinner we were awarded with a cool trophy for supporting the festival from day 1. It was a great gesture and it means the world to us, as long as they let us compete, we'll be here.
Sunday-
Kids q breakfast- 1st place! (With a 180!!)
Levi turned in pancakes in the shapes of basketballs, footballs, and baseballs, along with hashbrowns, sausage and blueberries.
I can't tell you how proud I am of Levi, this kid has taken up such an interest in Kids q. It started just cause he saw the other kids getting medals and he wanted one, and grew into actually wanting to give input on what he wanted to turn in. (Although we had to veto the "pancakes and corn" idea 🤣)
