Someone in the comments asked what happens when we open the gate between the little crias and the bigger alpaca babies. So we opened it. The whole group took off from one side of the pen to the other, and I couldn't stop smiling. That's pure joy on four legs. 🦙 What makes you this happy?

You see the ad for a breast scan with no radiation and no squeezing, just a picture of heat. It sounds so much easier than a mammogram, so you book it and skip the one you've been dreading. As a breast radiologist, this is my hot button. Thermography is not FDA approved as a replacement for mammography, and the FDA has warned women not to use it as one. It does not find breast cancer the way a mammogram does. Period. End of story. If it's time for your mammogram, book the mammogram. When is yours on the calendar?
