Life isn’t all parties and rainbows. Sure, there is joy, but there is also sadness. There are beginnings, endings, loves, losses...and at some point, even death.

In the Balkans, rakija has always been considered more than just a drink, it is a companion through the journey of life. And when someone dies, you raise a glass and say:

-Za pokoj duše.-
For the peace of their soul.

Today, we raise one for this little guy.
