today we have hopefully bred these two girls to our registered spotted polled nigerian dwarf buck!

Angelica is a first freshener, she is a homegrown, her kids will be F1 mini nubians!

Echo is a 2nd freshener & her kids will be registered nigerian dwarf!

We have put our registered blue eyed polled spotted nigerian dwarf buck in w/ his group of does on Oct 1, so far these are the does that we believe he has bred so far (he is much more secretive about it than my nubian bucks)

- 1st picture is Truffle she will be a first freshener, hopefully bred 10/3

- 2nd picture is Buttercup she is blue eyed & also polled, hopefully bred 10/2

- 3rd picture is Juniper, she is a purebred registered nubian & a homegrown of mine, she will be a first freshener & these will be registered F1 mini nubian kids, hopefully bred 10/7

- 4th picture is Selena, (Selena is also Buttercups daughter) this will be her 2nd freshening she is also blue eyed & polled also, she is hopefully bred 10/5

if all these does take then Peanut has 2 more nigerian dwarfs to breed & 1 more nubian doe!

We hopefully have 5 does left before we are officially finished w/ our 2026 breeding season!

disbudded, tattooed, raised on coccidia prevention, was weaned in august, hanging out w/ my bucks since then, moonspots galore (& both parents are spotted, sire is standing next to him in one photo, he is polled & blue eyed)!

if you kept up w/ my page you have seen i retained a buck this year for the first time ever, thats not to say this will be his forever home but he was nice enough that i felt the need to keep him for now, his grandsire is Comet (my senior buck) & Leo is his sire.

i decided to breed him to a few non related does this year & first up is Opal who was bred yesterday to him!

if both does take then Comet will be officially done w/ his does for the season & Leo will only have one doe left to breed! We will likely be moving Comet back in the buck pasture tomorrow & moving our nigerian dwarf buck in w/ his does tomorrow! We are officially (if everyone so far settles) over halfway done w/ our breeding season!

yesterday was a busy day for Leo (our blonde spotted nubian buck), hopefully if all these girls took they were bred to him yesterday!

Pumpkin will be a 2nd freshener this year, she had last season off as she had a rough first freshening & i ended up having to bottle raise her 2 doelings, so hoping the time off did her well!

Moon will be a first freshener, she is out of Comet our senior buck, we are excited to see how she does!

& Gypsy is a homegrown out of Comet & one of our best senior does, i have retained every doeling from her if that says anything, she always has beautiful & fancy colored kids!
