Hansfield Farm We proudly grow Aronia Melanocarpa (Viking variety) on just over 10 acres using regenerative and organic practices. We are honored to be farmers. Seriously.

We grow certified organic aronia berries, provide cut stems to the floral industry, and offer custom planting services. Genuniely. We have the privilege of being fifth generation family farmers, and we don't take lightly the sacrifices and hard work of those who came before us. Our farm is named in their honor...the Hansons, the Ericksons, the Brummands....."Hansfield" is really their field. They

were the original pioneers, but in our own small way, we are pioneers in their footsteps. We grow aronia berries. We grow regeneratively and organically as we seek to work in concert with the land and how our good God created it. We want to grow the most nutritionally dense (thus, tasty and healthy) berries possible. We want to grow the most beautiful cut stems, whether it be the lovely white blossoms, the alabaster berries, or even the verdant greenery. We are currently also trialing new varieties for the floral industry as we seek to grow and expand. We are pioneering new things. Our farming is exciting. It's also hard. Shane is still working full-time in engineering as we are working our way into full-time farming. I am busy schooling and raising our seven children. In some ways, this whole thing seems a bit insane. And yet.....the good Lord led us here, and He's faithfully provided every step of the way. We're excited to see where He leads our family of nine as we continue on this adventure. And we're going to give this everything we've got. Hansfield Farm-Farming for the glory of God.

Shane got me my annual Valentine’s flowers. I always request loose flowers so I can have the fun of arranging them myself. I used this nifty wire grid to create a beautiful, unique display using a stone vessel I bought last year. It worked wonderfully! I highly recommend for making displays where the stems stay put without needing floral foam!!! You can use tape to make a similar grid, but this holds really well and is reusable.😍
