🚨A FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT ROAD SAFETY ON CLARK STREET📍

I’ve held off on making this post since I began renovating, but I feel it’s important to bring some awareness to the safety concerns along our street, especially around the curve.

We are seeing people drive at extremely high speeds (25 is the speed limit) through this area daily, and it’s becoming increasingly concerning. Today, I witnessed a frightening situation where two young girls I care about dearly were nearly rear-ended while trying to park because a vehicle was traveling too fast to slow down safely.

Unfortunately, this is just one example of what I’ve witnessed and what customers have expressed concerns about as well. People are regularly getting in and out of vehicles, families are bringing their children into local businesses, and pedestrians are sharing this space with passing traffic.

We understand that this stretch of road may have once been quieter, but things are changing. More businesses are opening, more customers are coming and going, and this area is becoming busier.

Please, slow down. Especially as you approach the curve. Allow yourself time to react, give others room to park safely, and remember that there are real people and children just steps away from the road.

This isn’t about pointing fingers or calling anyone out. It’s about protecting our community, our customers, our families, and one another.

We want to see our local businesses continue to grow and our community thrive, but safety has to come first. Please help us spread awareness and make this street a safer place for everyone.

👋🏼 Meet Layla, our newest Shack girl!

We’re so excited to add this sweet girl to our Shack family! She’s already such a sweet addition, and we’re so happy to have her with us! Next time you stop by, be sure to say hello and give her a warm welcome! Please be patient with her as she learns the ropes and gets settled in.

We’re so thankful to have you, Layla! Welcome to our little Shack family! 🫶🏻

Pumpkins, petals, and popcorn event was truly a special night! Thanks everyone who came and attended, laughed, created, and made new memories at the shack.

Our first event was everything I hoped it would be. So much laughter, creativity, and beautiful people.

I’m so grateful I am able to open the doors to something I’ve dreamed about. Watching The Shack become more than I ever imagined is such a special feeling.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came, supported, laughed, created, and made this night so special. You helped make a dream feel real.

Also, a huge shoutout to my husband, who carved out everyone’s pumpkins, dug out the guts and filled them with their soil
