Last Saturday, I got to the market early and started setting up my canopy. Before I was even finished, I pulled out my chair, sat down with my coffee, and just looked around for a minute.
Vendors were pulling in, unloading, setting up, and getting everything ready. It made me stop and think about just how much work really goes into one day at the market. We all spend the whole week, month, or even the entire year getting ready for that one day — making, growing, baking, cooking, packing, planning, and preparing everything to bring to the market.
There are so many hours of hard work behind every table that people don't always get to see.
I also want to take a moment to say a special thank you to Amie and Pat, who put so much time, work, and heart into organizing this whole market and bringing all of us together. We truly appreciate everything you do!
I see you guys, and I see all the vendors out here putting in the work. ❤️
And to everyone who stopped by Saturday — whether you bought something or just stopped to talk with me for a few minutes — thank you. You really do make it all worth it. Thank you to everyone who helps make this market such a special place. ❤️
Pura vida 🤙🏼
