There’s something almost sacred about racking barrels at the winery. We carefully brought every single barrel outside – and yes, we tasted some wine.
Each barrel gets thoroughly cleaned, carefully fed, and the wine inside? We taste it. We do this to monitor the progress as it ages. 🍷
Why we do this:
The magic happening inside these oak barrels can’t be rushed or ignored. We’re checking tannin development, monitoring oxidation levels, and ensuring each vintage is developing exactly as it should. Some barrels whisper “patience” while others are nearly ready to shine.
