❤️‍🩹🐾 Send Some Love to Our Girl Nora 🐾❤️‍🩹

Our sweet Nora had a rough day here at Sweet Silos Farm. She was kicked in the face by one of the donkeys, causing quite a bit of damage to her eye area and nostril. 💔

Right now, we’re doing everything we can to save her eye. She’s on 7–14 days of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication, and pain medication.

The next week will tell us a lot. If she doesn’t improve, we may be looking at surgery to remove her eye. 😢

Please send our sweet guardian girl all the prayers, good vibes, and healing thoughts you can. 🤍🙏🏼

⏰ SWEET SILOS FARM — QUESTION OF THE DAY ⏰

Does anyone else ever feel like your entire life is just one big TIMER?! 😂⏱️

I was thinking about this today and realized just how much of my life revolves around watching the clock…

🧺 Washer — about an hour
👕 Dryer — about an hour
🍽️ Dishwasher — a couple hours
🐶 Feed the dogs — they stay in for an hour afterward
🐴 Ella’s food — soak for an hour
🐴 Then feed Ella separately — another hour and a half

And then there are the bigger timers constantly counting down…

👁️ Lashes — every 2 weeks
💅 Nails & waxing — every 4 weeks
💊 Medication refills — every month
🦷 Dentist — every 6 months
💇‍♀️ Hair — every 8 weeks
🐶 Groomer — every 8 weeks
🐾 Vet — once a year
👩‍⚕️ And that doesn’t even include all the random doctor appointments!

It’s like life is made up of a million little countdowns.

An hour. Two hours. Two weeks. A month. Six months. A year. Then start all over again. ⏰

We’re constantly waiting for one timer to go off just so we can reset it and start the next one.

And then we sit around and say…

“Where in the world does the time go?”

Well…I think I figured it out. 😂
WE PUT IT ALL ON TIMERS! ⏰🤣

Some days on the farm are a little harder than others. 🥹🤎

Today was Tito’s last day at Sweet Silos Farm and the first day of his brand-new adventure.

From one last walk down our driveway, one last hug, and loading him into the trailer… this one definitely tugged at my heart. We’ve loved this little guy from the very beginning, and saying goodbye is never easy.

But then you see him standing beside his new person, and your heart knows exactly why you let them go. ❤️

Tito has a wonderful new home and someone new to love him, spoil him and make memories with him. And that makes this farm mama’s heart a whole lot happier.

Go live your best life, sweet Tito. 🫏🤎
