🥩💥Tender Tail Special💥 🥩

Sometimes we end up with a bunch of tiny tenderloin filets. Now I could eat these myself (a ranchers gotta eat) but, Fathers Day is next weekend. So, I thought I would offer a tender tail special. Our tenderloin is usually $49 per pound but I have 1 package deal. For $39 you’ll get one pound of tenderloin perfect for making the garlic butter steak bites below.

The steak bites would be excellent over pasta with white sauce, on a delicious salad, with sautéed vegetables or even with some creamy mashed potatoes. Let your imagination run wild!

Who doesn’t love delicious easy fast meals ?! 🍽️

I used one pack of our pineapple teriyaki brats,1 sweet pepper, half of a red onion, 2 cups of broccoli, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, salt and garlic powder to taste. I cooked 1 cup of dry rice in the instant pot and mixed it in at the end. This one is definitely going in the dinner rotation.

I have the best job!

Went out to chain the gate to the corral back open (some large fluffy beasts knocked the chain loose 🤔)

I was rewarded with this great show while I waited for them to simmer down enough to enter the danger ⚠️ zone.

Maple Sausage Pancake Breakfast Bombs 🥞🍁🥓🧈

These little bites are the perfect combo of sweet and savory for a breakfast everyone will love!

🍴 Ingredients:

* 1 package of maple breakfast sausage links
* 1 cup pancake mix
* 1 cup water (or milk)
* 1/4 cup maple syrup
* Cooking spray

👩🏽🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
2. In a bowl, mix the pancake mix and water (or milk) until just combined. Don't overmix!
3. Take a sausage link and dip it into the pancake batter until fully coated.
4. Place the batter-coated sausage on the baking sheet and repeat with the rest.
5. Drizzle the maple syrup over the tops of the pancake bombs.
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

⏱️ Prep Time: 10 minutes
🍳 Cook Time: 20 minutes
⌛ Total Time: 30 minutes

📝 Notes: For an extra touch, serve with more maple syrup for dipping!

Bison don’t wallow in self pity but sometimes they do wallow in Diatomaceous Earth. This helps keep the flies off 🪰
Other ways we control flies…frequent pasture moves and a lot of great bird habitat. Those birds ride around on the bison’s back and face bellying up to the all you can eat fly buffet.
