Horseback Riding Lessons Update

At this time, Blossom Peak Ranch is no longer offering horseback riding lessons.

We want to sincerely thank all of our past students and their families for choosing Blossom Peak Ranch and allowing us to be part of your riding journey. We have truly enjoyed getting to know each of you and watching our students grow in their horsemanship skills. ❤️

Grace, who taught the majority of our riding lessons, is now working full-time at Libben Horsemanship Academy and splits her time between Three Rivers and Bakersfield, Ca

If you are in the Bakersfield area and would like to continue riding with Grace, we encourage you to reach out to Libben Horsemanship Academy for information about their current lesson program.

Thank you again for your support of Blossom Peak Ranch and for allowing us to be part of your equestrian journey! Keep an eye out as we may go back to offering lessons in the future 🐴❤️

Rest in Peace
♥️ Tina Turner♥️

Beloved by everyone who visited the ranch, Tina was such a sweet chicken. She would come when she was called and loved being held by anyone who wanted to give her some extra love.

Unfortunately, many of our birds are elderly, but we do everything we can to make sure they are comfortable, loved, and well cared for in their final days. Tina had become too weak to safely stay outside, so she spent her last week living inside with us, where we could keep a close eye on her.
We thought we had lost her a little while ago, but Tina surprised us by perking back up and eating for us this past week. This morning, we found her curled up peacefully after she had passed.

Tina will be laid to rest alongside her sister and her duck friend, where she will always be remembered.

Thank you, Tina, for bringing so much sweetness and joy to everyone who had the chance to meet you. You will be missed. ❤️🐔

🎉Congratulations Viva on finding your forever home! 🎉
Unfortunately after Grace took a new job last year, Viva was not getting the attention and training she deserved. We couldn't be happier with her new family and look forward to hearing about her future accomplishments!

RIP Bernadette 🦆🌈

Bernadette was truly one of a kind. Our beautiful Welsh Harlequin left an incredible legacy and a lasting impact on our family.

During her show career, she earned numerous awards at the Tulare County Fair, including Grand Champion Waterfowl and Grand Champion Poultry—meaning she was named the best bird in the entire show. We were once offered a substantial amount of money for her, but we couldn't imagine separating her from her lifelong mate, Howard. They belonged together.

Thank you, Bernadette, for sparking our love of waterfowl and for teaching us so much about ducks over the years. You will be deeply missed. Your legacy lives on in the offspring you and Howard produced. They have followed your path, showing with local 4H children.

Please keep Howard in your thoughts as he adjusts to life without his lifelong companion. 💙🦆🌈

Heidi
2024 Quarter Horse Filly
Grade (eligible for registration)
Mature Height ≈ 13.2-14 hands

Heidi is the definition of a kind-hearted young filly and is ready to find a family of her own. She has an incredibly sweet, willing personality and truly enjoys being around people.

For her age, she is exceptionally level-headed with very little spook. She loads with ease, stands quietly for the farrier, leads well, and confidently ponies over trail obstacles. She has a solid foundation and a great mind to continue developing.

Expected to mature on the smaller side, Heidi is athletic, sensible, and would make an outstanding youth prospect. I can easily see her excelling as a junior rodeo horse or becoming a versatile all-around partner for a handy youth willing to bring her along.

Heidi does have a small hernia near her udder. It has been evaluated by a veterinarian, who expects it to remain purely cosmetic and not affect her comfort, performance, or quality of life.

More than anything, Heidi deserves a family who will cherish her and give her the time, attention, and love she thrives on. She has a heart of gold, and I know she will make an incredible lifelong partner.
