Cool Apache Jackson is a registered 2011 Tennessee Walking Horse stallion known for his exceptional gait, which can be ridden all day. He is a sooty buckskin tobiano, homozygous black and tobiano, and carries a cream gene, ensuring that his foals will only be black or bay-based, always with a tobiano gene. When bred to your mare, Jackson will consistently produce black tobiano, bay tobiano, buckskin tobiano, smokey black tobiano, or potentially double dilute foals if the mare also carries a cream gene. Recent photographs of Jackson, including images of him under saddle on the trail and multiple foals sired by him, are included in this post. Jackson's temperament is sound and even-tempered, traits that are consistently passed on to his foals. He stands at 14.3 hands, and his foals typically range from 15 to 15.1 hands, with some exceeding 16 hands. Jackson's offspring inherit his smooth walk and gait, and he is not known for being high-headed or 'hot'. He is a reliable producer of smooth, gaited, and visually appealing trail companions. The stud fee for Jackson is $500, plus $8 per night for mare care. We offer on-site ultrasound services, and if a mare remains on site 18 days post-breeding, we will provide a complimentary pregnancy check. Mares must be easy to handle, up-to-date on vaccinations, and have a negative Coggins. We only perform hand breeding, and do not offer shipped semen or pasture breeding.
