We will have our goat milk soaps, organically grown onions and freeze dried herbs, and freeze dried fruits Saturday, the 30th. Thus lasts until 4 tomorrow, but we have to pack up our stuff at 2:00pm if ya have time to say hello, please do.

We had a fantastic time touring Oxford Family Farms FL today with most all of our current farm partners! So much great dialogue and to have all these great growers and producers in one area is such an asset to fresh ideas and foods!

“We are excited to announce an upcoming change with Howey Homestead and its farm partners here in Lake County. Effective June 1, we will transition from a “brick and mortar” space to an online space in order to share more of what we produce here on our Permaculture Homestead to a wider scope of folks. That means that Memorial Day will be our last time to be open to the public without an appointment. So after 5 years of a very steady stream of growth with local farm partnerships and loyal weekly support from our community, we have outgrown our little retail barn and will merge with our neighboring farm partner, Oxford Family Farms FL. Passing this baton, was not only in good timing for centralizing all things fresh and homemade into a one-stop shopping experience, but it also opens the door for collaboration of two great families coming together to give what the community of Central Florida needs and has been looking for. As Howey Homestead continues to homegrow, handmake, and homestead, you will see almost every single one of our farm partners transition over to Oxford Family Farm, providing the same fresh and all natural items, allowing the old retail barn to be used for a place of production instead. You will also still see me there from time to time at OFF:))
Oxford Family Farm will be the place to be, come harvest time…..and thats real farm to your table, y’all”
