Prater Ranch and Rabbitry We believe in locally sourced foods that are farm to table from meat, eggs and other foods. We offer educational classes for those who want to learn.

We also offer a large selection of dog and pet foods.

We have a limited number of silver fox rabbits looking to hop along. All are full pedigreed, meet sop, good growth rates, and nice fur.

We breed for friendly rabbits, large litters, good mothering and hardy rabbits. We breed year round in central Washington, so only keep rabbits that can breed and kindle when we are 100+ degrees as well as -20 below in the winter. We breed for commercial growth rate, good type, and quality fur. This is important as we primarily use our rabbits as the breed was designed for fur and meat.

We have blacks, blues and a couple chocolates. Bucks and does, between 4 and 6 months. Can send pics upon request.

They can be brought to Reno and picked up there, or may be able to help connect with transporters if your not traveling and looking for a way to get them to you. If your in the Pacific Northwest we may be able to deliver.

Jayden did amazing this year with his show rabbits! He was able to not only get best of breed but best grand champion showman. Jayden has been putting in the work to make sure he knows what he is doing and going strong. He has high hopes of making it to national convention this year to see those blues through! And be part of the team that gets the blue COD accepted this year!

He sure has big dreams, and we are thrilled we can be here to help him with them!

If you have considered getting rabbits for your farm but not sure if you would like the meat, this is a great opportunity to try your hand at processing, learning about diseases, health and how to pick the right rabbits for your family.

You get to take home two freshly processed rabbits as well as a ton of knowledge.

Private classes fill fast, and this is a family friendly event, so kids are welcome as long as supervised.

We received a wonderful surprise in the mail today. When we started with silver fox rabbits we chose them due to their wonderful temperments, growth rate, and unique fur. But also for one more reason. We wanted to help preserve a breed that was on the livestock conservancy conservation list and a rare breed per ARBA.

We have worked tirelessly to promote this wonderful breed. Improve our stock, genetics and work with like minded breeders while maintaining ethics and preserving the breed. This means culling, and culling hard to achieve goals. Not just crossing other breeds in and breeding out traits. But true preservation of the breed as it was meant to be.

We are honored to see that it is paying off. The silver fox is one of the first breeds to ever be taken off these lists. We hope that it will mean many more will become involved in this amazing breed and the breed will continue to improve.

We also will be standing with our breed this October at convention as Jayden gets to see his dream and hard work through. His goal is to have blue silver fox that he bred, raised and shown presented to the judges at convention this year. He wants to support the blue COD and help get the color accepted back into the breed as it once was.

We believe if you aim for the stars, even if you fall short you still will land on the moon! So aim high, and never give up

If this isn't the cutest thing we have ever seen!

Jamies daughter hit it out of the park with her costume of Ms Frizzle and her magic school bus. We cant help but want to think that her little bunny is her best student ever.

We are so thrilled and cant wait to watch the adventures that they are going to have.

Anna we want to say congratulations on your win!

Anna is in FFA and reached out to us after being frustrated the year before showing a different breed. We promised we would help her out! She was looking for a show rabbit as well as meat pens.

We want to say keep up the good work! Not only was she able to get Grand Champion showman! She was able to grand champion her rabbit and her meat pen!
